All of my life I have loved to paint and to travel and I fell very lucky since I have been able to combine these things as a way of living.
I studied at Rudolf Steiner School and got scholarship for a year in USA at an art school.
When I got back to Denmark , I stayed 8 years on a small Island in Denmark , as a “kromutter” – in Danish that means the woman that owns and run a restaurant on the countryside. That was tough.
Then I went back to travelling . England with its romantic landscapes , a monastery in Italy ,
A goat stable in France , all places I studied the secrets of watercolor .
I travelled around the hole world , making frikadeller ( Danish meatballs) , painting flowers and landscapes . I met the Danish painter , Ejler Bille at Bali , and he said “ Go for it , jump !! “ – and so I did .
I have had exhibitions in Norway , USA , France and twice in Brazil , where my crazy-for-surfing family lives , besides for good old Denmark off course.
Once in a while I make talk shows about my life and I have a nice little school with my lovely watercolor students. I love it all..
